The Comark Instruments SK42M type-K thermocouple surface probe measures temperature from -58 to +482 degrees F (-50 to +250 degrees C), has a swiveling bell probe and a coiled lead. The probe bends at a 45-degree angle and has a flat sensor for surface contact. The probe handle is attached to a coiled lead that stretches to extend reach. Its sub-miniature connector attaches to a thermocouple kit or thermometer. This probe is designed for use in monitoring temperatures on grills and griddles.
