The Cooper-Atkins 50209-K Type K thermocouple 3.5″ needle probe measures temperature from -100 to +500 degrees F (-73 to 260 degrees C) and has a 1mm tip for reduced impact. It has a response time of 1 second in liquid for fast readings. The polyurethane coiled cable extends to 4′ and withstands temperatures up to 176 degrees F (80 degrees C). This probe is for monitoring temperatures of small and semi-solid food products. Not recommended for use in highly acidic or alkaline products such as citrus and tomato products.
